The course will be conducted jointly with the Academic English Program (ENG). The ENG component provides students the opportunity to develop and learn to apply the skills needed to design, write, present, and defend an extended, collaborative, transdisciplinary research project in the social sciences. Emphasis is on analyzing published materials that demonstrate the conventions of the different stages of an extended research project, developing skills of self- and peer-editing, and mastering advanced formatting techniques.
